They weren\u2019t just involved in good works at their church and community. Each had their own intimate relationship with Jesus. They prayed daily for their five children to have that same friendship with God, because they didn\u2019t want us to arrive at the banquet too late.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now I find myself praying those same prayers for my own family and friends. I don\u2019t want anyone to face a closed door or hear our Lord say, \u201cI don\u2019t know you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Telling God that my mom, dad, sister, brother, or best friend have an intimate relationship with Him, will not open the door to heaven for me.
