Proverbs.\u201d 16:32<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Applying God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I see myself as a pretty patient person, but at times, when driving, I turn into a warrior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ever drive the route from California to Scottsdale, Arizona on highway #10? It\u2019s two lanes in both directions, with convoys of truckers passing one another. We drove it a few weeks ago and I decided to do a little passing of my own. That meant increasing my speed and changing lanes frequently as well. To my surprise, there was a sheriff with flashing lights right behind me. I pulled to the side of the road and so did he.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The officer asked where we were headed and I told him we were going to a Christian Conference in Scottsdale. He got all excited about that, but then said, \u201cMr. McCall, I stopped you for unsafe lane changes.\u201d I agreed with him. After a brief review on changing lanes he said, \u201cPlease drive safely. I want you to get to the conference alive. I\u2019m not giving you a ticket today.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I deserved a ticket, but I was just doing what all the other drivers were doing. That was the problem, huh? More self-control and patience, Jack! Don\u2019t take on a convoy either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Accounting of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Am I easily drawn to impatience by the example of others?
