There is no commandment greater than these.\u201d Mark 12:31<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Applying God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few weeks ago, I met a new neighbor. Initially, it was a smile and a wave back and forth. A couple days ago though, we walked toward each other to talk. During the conversation, he mentioned that he was out of work due to a shoulder injury. I empathized with him, we shook hands and said goodbye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was about ten feet away when the Lord said, \u201cDidn\u2019t you forget something, Jack.\u201d I turned around and called out to Hector saying, \u201cCan I pray over your injured shoulder?\u201d He smiled and said, \u201cSure\u201d. When we were done, he said, \u201cThank you. I receive it.\u201d I commented, \u201cRarely do I hear folks say they receive it after a healing prayer.\u201d He smiled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are many ways to love our neighbors like ourselves, praying with them and for them is one of the best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Accounting of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Am I praying with\/for my neighbors?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Absorbing God\u2019s Word \u201cThe second is this: \u2018Love your neighbor as yourself.
