But where there are prophecies,&nbsp;they will cease; where there are tongues,&nbsp;they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.\u201d 1 Corinthians 13:8<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Applying God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s a scripture that I should repeat a couple times a day or more. It reminds me that the gifts of the Holy Spirit rely on God\u2019s love to lead the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Admittedly, if there\u2019s too much of me involved when using any of the gifts, God\u2019s love doesn\u2019t stand a chance. When I am operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and God\u2019s love is present, I can tell the difference. It\u2019s like night and day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Accounting of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do I experience the presence of God\u2019s love, when using the gifts of the Holy Spirit?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Absorbing God\u2019s Word \u201cLove never fails.
