We also love the fact that we\u2019ve been married nine (9) years as of 10\/3\/24. We\u2019ve definitely had a good return for our labor. When younger folks ask us what the secret to a great marriage is, we tell them it\u2019s a four letter word and it\u2019s not the word \u201cLOVE\u201d. It\u2019s the word \u201cWORK\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We put a lot of work into our relationship. We also start each day together in prayer. Even if one of us is traveling, we arrange to have our morning prayer-time together via phone or FaceTime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s easy to get busy or lazy about showing up for prayer, but that\u2019s where the \u201cTwo are Better Than One\u201d comes in. We have three sources of accountability, each other, our prayer journals and of course Jesus. We know that He always joins us for prayer and He\u2019s never late.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Accounting of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Who\u2019s holding me accountable to my daily appointment with God?
