{"id":1321,"date":"2026-01-24T22:00:41","date_gmt":"2026-01-24T22:00:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.act-ministries.org\/blog\/?p=1321"},"modified":"2026-01-24T22:00:41","modified_gmt":"2026-01-24T22:00:41","slug":"fruit-of-the-spirit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.act-ministries.org\/blog\/?p=1321","title":{"rendered":"\u201cFruit of the Spirit\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Absorbing God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIf I have the gift of prophecy\u00a0and can fathom all mysteries\u00a0and all knowledge,\u00a0and if I have a faith\u00a0that can move mountains,\u00a0but do not have love, I am nothing.\u201d 1 Corinthians 13:2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Applying God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I think most of us know that the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are very powerful, but it\u2019s the Fruit produced from the Gifts that verify their power. That Fruit is God\u2019s Love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recently, God sent me a man recovering from a life-threatening flu. The Holy Spirit urged me to pray with the man, but the noisy environment wasn\u2019t conducive for prayer. The opportunity presented itself as we walked to our cars and I asked him if I could pray with him. He said, \u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Did God heal the man immediately? I don\u2019t know. Will I ever know if God healed him? I don\u2019t know. I only know that I was obedient to what I heard God ask me to do. However, I do know that I experienced the unconditional sacrificial love of Jesus at work firsthand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Accounting of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cChallenge\u201d When is the last time I prayed with someone in need or had someone pray with me?
