I really have tried to honor my parents throughout my life. Even though they are no longer here, it\u2019s still important to honor them. It\u2019s even more important to honor my heavenly Father.<\/p>\n<p>Right before my father died thirty-seven years ago, he encouraged me to have a personal relationship with Jesus. I was young, cocky and driven toward the material things of this world. I thought the request was unreasonable and dismissed it immediately. .<\/p>\n<p>I think about my dad often and would give anything to hold his hands in mine for a moment of prayer. I know now that my dad\u2019s request came directly from our Heavenly Father. I got it dad! I\u2019m doing it dad!
