The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.\u201d Luke 6:49<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applying God&#8217;s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a real relatable scripture; for me anyway. When our daughter was young (birth to thirteen), I was hell-bent on having her see me as popular and successful in the world. I made sure she saw how dedicated I was to attending church on Sundays as well as being involved with numerous good works.<\/p>\n<p>What I was incapable of showing her during those early years is the importance of knowing Jesus Christ up close and personal. She was fourteen when I finally woke up and pretty much on her own before there was any evidence that a solid spiritual foundation was in place for my life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accounting of God&#8217;s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What do my children, grandchildren, family and friends witness as the foundation in my life.
