Do not cast me\u00a0from your presence or take your Holy Spirit\u00a0from me.\u201d Psalm 51:10-11<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applying God&#8217;s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Even though nothing is impossible for God, I\u2019m still asking Him to create a purer heart in me. I could never fathom being cast from His presence or to be without His Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m harder on myself these days. It may have to do with a heightened awareness of God&#8217;s presence. It\u2019s never Him not showing up. It\u2019s me not showing up.<\/p>\n<p>God has been very present to me; especially when I\u2019m present to Him. I don\u2019t think He is present to me in times of sin. I think He allows me to enter sin alone. He\u2019s always been there though, when I\u2019ve asked Him for forgiveness, to create in me a pure heart and to renew a steadfast spirit within me.<\/p>\n<p>The Easter season is a wonderful time to focus on Psalm 51:10-11.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accounting of God&#8217;s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Am I seeking God? Am I asking Him to create in me a pure heart?
