What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.\u201d James 4:14<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applying God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reading the book of \u201cJames\u201d is tough, but applying his words to my life is even more challenging.<\/p>\n<p>My life was all about me the first forty years. Then I began to realize that God had sent me here to fulfill His purpose not my own. That realization is difficult for me to swallow, because the things of the world are so enticing.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t know what\u2019s going to happen in my life today or tomorrow. I have no idea what will happen in the next moment. Each breath is a gift from God. My gift back to God is to fulfill more of His purpose for my being here.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accounting of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What is my life? Will it just be a mist that vanishes?
