Whoever does God\u2019s will is my brother and sister and mother.\u201d Mark 3:33 &amp; 35<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applying God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our relatives who may not be followers of Jesus, could take offense to Jesus words above, huh? What\u2019s he saying to me?<\/p>\n<p>Jesus isn\u2019t discounting the love I have for my blood relatives. He\u2019s merely saying that there\u2019s another family that He values just as much; His family of believers.<\/p>\n<p>My parents and older brother are gone. I am surrounded by a large family of Christ\u2019s followers, one sister, two brothers, relatives, friends and strangers. Jesus expects me to love them all the same; the way He does.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accounting of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Does my love show favoritism or discriminate? Who are my mother, my sisters and my brothers?
