Artie was the only server in the whole place that day, so getting food to go made sense to me.<\/p>\n<p>I had made Artie\u2019s acquaintance several years ago when I started frequenting this establishment. As he rushed by me to serve others, he rolled his eyes and we both laughed. I said, \u201cNo worries, Artie. I\u2019m in no hurry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When he took my order, I asked, \u201cHow are your wedding plans going.\u201d? He shared that his fianc\u00e9 had been ill. His eyes teared up. He said, \u201cSpending the money to get her better is more important than the wedding.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hearing that and seeing Artie\u2019s expression, I became noticeably emotional. So, we just stared into one another\u2019s eyes, enjoying the presence of God. We threw our arms around one another and stood in the that crowded restaurant as though no one else was there.
