She said, \u201cGrant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom.\u201d Matthew 20: 21<\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Applying God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3>One of the first things I was taught in sales was that if you don\u2019t \u201cASK\u201d the answer is automatically \u201cNO\u201d.<\/h3>\n<h3>The mother of James and John doesn\u2019t just have visions of grandeur. She is brave enough to ask Jesus, on her son\u2019s behalf, for two of the best seats in His kingdom. Interestingly, she doesn\u2019t ask for herself.<\/h3>\n<h3>We should all want to be that close to Jesus in the next life. We don\u2019t have to wait until then, though. We can snuggle up to Him right now. That may not buy us a front row seat in heaven, but it may just get us inside the gate. ;&gt;)<\/h3>\n<h3>For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds;\u00a0and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
