Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.\u201d Matthew 17:27<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applying God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the last month, I\u2019ve received notices from the IRS and the Franchise Tax Board. I\u2019m always amazed at what an intimate relationship they have with me\/us. ;&gt;)<\/p>\n<p>Whenever I receive a letter about taxes, I try to respond immediately as not to betray the long-standing connection we have. There\u2019s no Peter around to fish for funds that will appease tax collectors. I do have an awesome CPA firm that has taken care of me over the last thirty years, though.<\/p>\n<p>So, thank You Lord for sending me CPA\u2019s who know what they are doing. They are the modern-day Peters who have helped me navigate many different dealings having to do with taxes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accounting of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Am I thankful for the taxes I pay?
