But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: \u201cBe holy, because I am holy.\u201d 1 Peter 1:14-16<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applying God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I just finished another GREAT book by Matthew Kelly titled \u201cThe Biggest Lie in the History of Christianity\u201d. He says the lie we buy into is that \u201cHoliness Isn\u2019t Possible. It\u2019s the lie Satan and our world uses to slowly pull us away from the love of God.<\/p>\n<p>The thought of becoming holy can be overwhelming, but Matthew Kelly says if we each concentrate on \u201cHoly Moments\u201d we can change this lie into truth; by doing so God can change the world through us.<\/p>\n<p>The definition of being holy is \u201cSet Apart\u201d. If there\u2019s hope for someone like me to live a life that is set apart, there\u2019s hope for everyone. I am not holy around the clock, but I do have moments when my life reflects the image of God.<\/p>\n<p>I know we can turn this lie around by living \u201cHoly Moments\u201d. That\u2019s exactly what Peter means when he says, \u201cSo, be holy in all you do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accounting of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Have I thrown in the towel?
