We know that they were way too smart to go looking for the Messiah without a plan. They had spent much of their lives studying, preparing and planning to encounter Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>If I am truly honest with myself, that\u2019s exactly what this life offers me; an opportunity to study, prepare and plan to encounter Jesus the Messiah.<\/p>\n<p>The pull of the world during these days leading up to Christmas, is powerful. It screams at me to embrace the materialism of Christmas and to ignore what this time of year is all about; Jesus!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accounting of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How will I spend the next twenty-three days prior to Christmas? What will consume my time the most?
