My family was supposed to be on a week\u2019s vacation together over Easter break. In May, we were going to attend multiple events with our children and grandchildren, including several birthdays, a senior graduation and a confirmation. Today, as I think about it, would have been the Golden Wedding Anniversary (50) for my late wife Joanne and I. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Everything I\u2019ve listed are things I had fixed my eyes on, without giving much thought to the things I couldn\u2019t see or plan on. I hadn\u2019t planned on Joanne\u2019s death six years ago nor did I give much thought to being married again. I didn\u2019t know that Covid19 would swoop down and crush our family plans or the plans of folks all around the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s a reminder to all of us that what is seen is temporary while what is unseen is eternal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
