She said, \u201cAbandonment is an awful poverty. There are poor people everywhere, but the deepest poverty is not being loved.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yesterday, I drove some distance to see my friend Bob who is in a nursing home. It would only be a window visit, due to the Covid19 virus. Bob\u2019s nurse came outside to tell me that Bob wasn\u2019t up to the visit. At that moment, her eyes filled with tears and she broke down.
