I stand at the door\u00a0and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,\u00a0I will come in\u00a0and eat with that person, and they with me.\u201d Revelation 3:20<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Applying God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">God is at our door, knocking. What door? The door of our hearts and souls. It is said that the human heart and mind are like a parachute. They function best when they are open. If we hear God\u2019s voice and let Him in, we can be part of something magnificent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019ve known about God since I was a little boy, but I didn\u2019t open the door to knowing Him personally until thirty-three years ago. That change came after a wise man told me, \u201cGod is not going to force himself into your heart, Jack. He\u2019s waiting for you to open the door and invite Him into your life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I never intentionally ignored God. I just didn\u2019t know I could have an intimate relationship with Him. Opening that door has allowed me to be part of something magnificent ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Accounting of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do I know about God or do I actually know God?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Absorbing God Word \u201cHere I am!
