{"id":883,"date":"2021-02-13T20:18:05","date_gmt":"2021-02-13T20:18:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.act-ministries.org\/blog\/?p=883"},"modified":"2021-02-13T20:18:05","modified_gmt":"2021-02-13T20:18:05","slug":"choices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.act-ministries.org\/blog\/?p=883","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Choices&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Absorbing God Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDo not conform\u00a0to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.\u00a0Then you will be able to test and approve what God\u2019s will is\u2014his good, pleasing\u00a0and perfect will.\u201d Romans 12:2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Applying God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Months of meeting with God went by before I recognized that God\u2019s plan for me was much different than the plan I was living. In living out God\u2019s plan, I would have to surrender to God\u2019s authority in my relationships, time, work, money, possessions, reputation, liberty and will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">God was asking me to live out His will in all the areas of my life. That meant transformation, which scared me. It meant being held accountable by others, becoming transparent and saying goodbye to flying solo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019m still learning how to surrender to God\u2019s will. He teaches me to do that moment to moment, one encounter to the next. All my choices are made on the battlefield of two kingdoms, good and evil. God\u2019s given me the free will to choose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Accounting of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Am I willing to be transformed to do God\u2019s will? Is God involved in all my choices?
