Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.\u201d Deuteronomy 6:5-7<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Applying God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The original apostles were powerful influencers. They influenced others to follow Jesus. They loved the Lord with all their hearts, souls and strength. They preached and impressed that same commandment on as many people as possible wherever they went, in everything they did, every day of their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, our world is saturated with powerful influencers. Unfortunately, most have little to say about following Jesus. They are all about encouraging us to buy things, do things or even think things. We can either get swallowed up by the world\u2019s influence or become influencers ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At times, I wonder if I\u2019ve impressed on my family the importance of loving and trusting God. I wonder if my life as God\u2019s influencer has been enough? I don\u2019t really know, but I\u2019m not going to stop trying. It\u2019s what we do when we love God with all our heart, soul and strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Accounting of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Is my influence in the world pleasing God?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Absorbing God Word \u201cLove\u00a0the\u00a0Lord\u00a0your God with all your heart\u00a0and with all your soul and with all your strength.\u00a0These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.\u00a0Impress them on your children.
