Galatians 2:20<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Applying God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I had an opportunity to speak at my friend\u2019s funeral Friday. Bob and I made a Christian men\u2019s retreat together in April of 1987. The scripture that highlighted that weekend was Galatians 2:20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We left that weekend with the realization that we knew a lot about Jesus, but we didn\u2019t know Jesus. The retreat challenged both Bob and I to have a relationship with Jesus and to trust God with our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bob did just that and he did it with great humility. He led by example, never boasting about what he did. It was always about what God was doing through him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Accounting of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>How\u2019s my friendship with Jesus?
