Then he spit\u00a0and touched the man\u2019s tongue.\u00a0He looked up to heaven\u00a0and with a deep sigh\u00a0said to him,\u00a0\u201cEphphatha!\u201d\u00a0(\u201cBe opened!\u201d).\u00a0At this, the man\u2019s ears were opened.\u201d Mark 7:33-35<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"applying-god-s-word\"><strong>Applying God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I went to see my E.N.T last week and was moved by a detailed diagram of the ear, nose, and throat. When my doctor entered the room, I pointed to the diagram and said, \u201cI\u2019m in awe of how God has created us.\u201d He replied, \u201cI\u2019m in awe of that every single day that I come to work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It made me think of all the times I took hearing for granted. It also made me think of things I\u2019ve said and heard throughout my life that weren\u2019t true. Fortunately, like the deaf man, Jesus touched me and said, \u201cEphphatha!\u201d He not only opened me ears to the truth, but also my heart, soul, and mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"accounting-of-god-s-word\"><strong>Accounting of God\u2019s Word<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have I allowed Jesus to touch me with His truth?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Absorbing God Word \u201cAfter he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man\u2019s ears.
