“You Talking To Me” ?

Absorbing God’s Word

“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit … fruit that will last.” John 15:16

Applying God’s Word

Louise and I just traveled to Scottsdale, Arizona for the Christians in Commerce WorkLight National Conference. To say it was “powerful” would be an understatement.

Christians from many different denominations were in attendance. It was and still is one big family of believers who understand the importance of making sure God’s presence shows up in all the areas of our lives, including the workplace. It also reinforces and helps us to recognize the importance of having each other’s support to live out that calling.

I’ve participated in other good ministries that, ultimately, were not right for me and when I was first introduced to CIC/WorkLight I didn’t even consider choosing it. It was God who appointed this ministry for me so that I would go and bear fruit for Him; fruit that would last.

CIC/WorkLight has challenged me to live my life much differently than I had planned. It’s a ministry that has challenged me to have an intimate friendship with Jesus first.

Accounting of God’s Word

Do I know what God has appointed me to do to bear fruit? Have I taken the time to be with God to find out?
