“Two Christians”

Absorbing God’s Word

“As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them.” Luke 24:15

Applying God’s Word

I love the story about the two people Jesus walks with on the road to Emmaus. It’s a reminder to me that Jesus wants me to not only bring Him up in my conversations but, to also glorify Him by sharing the impact He has on my life.

The other day, I grabbed a bite to eat at our club restaurant. Two young men who work in our facilities department came up to say hello. Both men are named Christian and both love the Lord. I shared my testimony with them and then we prayed together.

Jesus wasn’t just walking along with me and the two Christians. He was also manifesting Himself to a number of waitresses and club members observing us in prayer.

Accounting of God’s Word

Do I talk to others about my relationship with Jesus? When was the last time Jesus came up and walked along side me?
