“The Soldier’s Return”?

Absorbing God Word

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.” Psalm 95:1-2

Applying God’s Word

Last Sunday, I requested your prayer support for a friend of mine stranded at a military hospital in Germany. After numerous exams, MRI’s, ex-rays, etc. the doctors were stumped. Paul was finally diagnosed with severe migraines and extreme vertigo. These conditions left Paul paralyzed and kept him from getting airlifted back to the USA.

On Monday, the military was able to arrange a flight home with chaperoned assistance, for Paul. He flew to Dallas Tuesday morning and on to Fort Hood in Killeen Texas on Tuesday night. He made it through medical checks Wednesday and Thursday and was reunited with his wife Novi at Nashville Tennessee Airport on Friday morning. His migraines are less frequent, and the vertigo has decreased substantially. Glory to God and thank you all for praying him home!

Some have asked, “Is this the same Paul that rode his ten-speed bicycle from San Diego, Ca. to Miami, Florida representing Christians in Commerce, twenty-five years ago?” Yes! He is one in the same.

Accounting of God’s Word

Have I thanked You Lord, for all the times You’ve rescued me; the times I recall and the times I’m not even aware of?
