“Heavenly Realms”?

Absorbing God’s Word

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12

Applying God’s Word

When I began reading the Bible, I rolled my eyes at scriptures like the one above. It seemed like fiction to me. Now I not only believe every word, but I recognize that many of my struggles are against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Before waking up to the fact that Satan is real, I knew very little about him. Satan was happy with that because he didn’t want me to know he existed. Archbishop Fulton Sheen (5-8-1895 to 12-9-1979) said, “Satan has very little trouble with those who do not believe in him; they are already on his side.”

Another one of Fulton Sheen’s quotes is, “If you do not live what you believe, you will end up believing what you live.”

Accounting of God’s Word

Am I living what I believe or believing what I live?
