Applying God’s Word
We were only able to have one child and we named her Jacqueline. I feel incredibly blessed that God has allowed me to witness forty-five years of her life, so far.
Similarly, God has witnessed all the years of my life. I have to say that He has done so with great patience, compassion and love.
Knowing God has taught me the importance of embracing His patience and His compassion for our daughter. Doing so has helped me see her with God’s eyes and love her with His heart.
On this Father’s Day, I want to thank God for allowing me to be a parent. I want to thank our daughter for being so patient and loving while I was obtaining all the on-the-job training that I needed to be a better parent.
