“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
Applying God’s Word
My friend’s enthusiasm for his new vehicle caught my interest. He talked about minimal moving parts, comfort, quietness and power. Then he said, “Get in. I’ll show you what I mean.” Experiencing the power of this vehicle was incredible.
Pentecost Sunday is today. Talking about the Holy Spirit can be exciting, but experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit goes beyond words. Once we experience it, we want everyone to “Get in”.
Pentecost is a reminder to me/us to ask for more of the Holy Spirit and to “Get In” as often as possible
