“Ask Jesus”

Absorbing God Word

“For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” Galatians 2:19-20

Applying God’s Word

This is one of my favorite scriptures, because it reminds me that I am no longer living this life for me. I’m living it for God.

Like many of you, I have already voted. I sat down with Jesus and asked Him how He wanted me to mark my ballot. More importantly I’ve prayed deeply, over the last couple weeks about voting.

This Tuesday will be a day of prayer and fasting for me. Why? Praying while fasting is a powerful way to communicate with God. It may not change anything about the election results, but I will know that I’ve done everything God has asked of me.

Maybe we could all make Tuesday a day of prayer and fasting.

Accounting of God’s Word

Have I asked Jesus how He wants me to mark my ballot?
