Applying God’s Word
This Monday, I will turn seventy-four. It’s hard not to think about my own mortality and/or what heaven will be like. I find it exciting to think about seeing the face of God and meeting Jesus.
Over the years, though, I have seen God, met Jesus and experienced heaven numerous times, through all of you and so many others.
Documenting the numerous encounters has become so life giving to me. Every holy moment is special, because it’s evidence that God’s presence is manifest in each situation and relived again when He has had me type the weekly Challenge.
This month marks twenty years that God has empowered me share the “Challenge”. God has shown up over 1,000 times with a scripture and a story for me to share. He’s never missed a week and neither have I. It blows my mind, because it could only happen by His grace and power.
What now? I’m not sure. I sense that He wants to keep using me, possibly by way of a different venue/format. We’ll see. Please pray for me.
