Colossians 1:29 – “Trapezius Relief”

Absorbing God’s Word

“T0 this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.” Colossians 1:29

Applying God’s Word

A tight Trapezius muscle is painful. It is the muscle on either side of the neck from the head to the shoulder blades. I have been suffering with this condition for about eight weeks. I heard God tell me to see a chiropractor or massage therapist, but I thought the problem would go away on its own.

I finally went to see a massage therapist. As this wonderful technician worked out the tightness in my shoulder and neck, I sensed a battle going on inside me between selfishness and selflessness. God had sent me there on purpose to receive healing and to provide healing.

At the end of the treatment period, God had ministered to both the therapist and myself.

Accounting of God’s Word

Do I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ wants to work in and through me?
