Applying God’s Word
I saw two people praying in a restaurant. As I was leaving, I thanked them for their wonderful example and left my ACT Ministry card.
A week later the young woman, called asking if we could meet. She wanted to know more about the work God was doing in my life and to share about her work in AIA (Athletes In Action) at UC Berkley.
I showed up at the designated spot, as promised. While waiting for the young woman, I bumped into a pastor I knew. I told him why I was there and he smiled. He had spent several years involved with AIA at UC Berkley, prior to becoming a pastor. Small world, huh?
After meeting, they laughed and talked about different people they both knew in AIA. The pastor was a great encouragement to the young woman. God’s purpose for me on that day was to do the same, by bringing them together.
